Tourism development confidence in 2024

While the confidence in tourism in New Zealand is going through a blip right now, Queenstown continues to build.

The confidence to build chairlifts, hotels, gondolas and new tourism attractions signals growth.

- New chairlifts at The Remarkables and Cardrona - both detachable Doppelmayr 6 packs!

- New hotels with the Lakeview Te Taumata development, the Roki Collection on Brunswick Street and 185 room 5 star hotel on Man Street.

- New tourism activities and attractions like 'The Future is Wild at The Hillocks' in Glenorchy, constant development of mountain bike trails and a new golf course at Hogans Gully.

- New multi-use hospitality and accommodation precincts like Ayrburn.

These sorts of projects take a long time to realise.

From vision to planning to consents to construction to reality - it takes a lot of time, money and confidence to make it happen which has to be admired.

It also clearly takes a lot of renders - the people doing 3D renders for Queenstown developments are some of the real winners here!

Site note: if you want a cheap but high-quality render done I've had good success using buff.ly/3QDTf7P
