‘Chondola’ Development - the first gondolas on a ski area in NZ. I was a part of this project with the Doppelmayr Garaventa Group.

Cardrona were due to replace their main lift which was approaching 30 years old; they came to Doppelmayr with a 10 year plan and a concept of wanting to develop into an all year round destination.

We worked on this together and collaborated on a chairlift/gondola combination lift - opening up a world of opportunities for what used to be just a ski resort. 

This has enabled them to open to not just skiing but mountain biking, off road carting, star gazing and sightseers.
