The project was for Te Mara Rakaunui o Aotearoa - The National Arboretum of New Zealand, Eastwoodhill who act as a living seed bank for the world.

I was part of a project team tasked with assisting on a number of internal projects to help accelerate their 100 year plan alongside interim business management.

Over several months I got to be part of a world-class project team tasked with delivering quick results.

Birandra Singh executed a masterclass in leadership and relationships - as acting GM he united the internal team and executed a multifaceted work programme while engaging iwi, local government and the RTO along for the journey.

Leanne Stewart showcased the ROI in allocating strategic resource and time to funding. During the few months she worked on the project, EWH was able to access multiple 6 figure funding streams. She was able to understand the project opportunities, build strong business cases and connect them to the right funders.

Geoff Canham showcased why he's a codesign expert. He orchestrated the overall project team, clarified deliverables and pushed everyone in the right direction. Then he connected everyone with external stakeholders for high impact - this combo allowed each specialist to do their job to a much greater effect and the results flowed.

My role in the tourism development was working across several areas of experience design, stakeholder engagement and project management. This included development of a NZMCA site, cycle trails and digital improvements.

Improving their tourism proposition will see them grow as a business and increase their ability to deliver on their ambition to provide a long-term haven for global species protection.

The opportunity for tourism as a force for good AND for good business continues to be strong!
